Adesegun joined British American Tobacco in May 2005, and has enjoyed a robust career that has presented him with the opportunities to lead and deliver across the depth and breadth of the Technology profession in digital transformation, innovation, strategic business/technology alignment, project management, business analysis, infrastructure & service management, and demand/ portfolio management across various business functions, multiple geographies, and diverse cultural environments.
Adesegun was seconded to British American Tobacco, Kenya in 2014 as the Geographic IT Manager for East and Central Africa Area and has held several key IT Leadership roles spanning the Middle East, Europe, Americas & Sub-Saharan Africa.
Adesegun is a graduate of two prestigious institutions, the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and The University of Manchester, United Kingdom where he bagged his bachelor’s and MBA degrees respectively.
On the global stage, Adesegun is recognised as a world-class IT professional with the Chartered status award of the British Computer Society (BCS), United Kingdom, and gives back to the global tech community through coaching & mentoring of other IT professionals and a volunteer assessor of the British Computer Society.
An experienced and certified Enterprise Agile Coach, Adesegun enjoys sports and music.
